Drumming up joy wherever we go! Working within schools and communities, on beaches to offices, we bring the rhythm to your events. Need extra gear? We’ve got you covered with tents and chairs and of course we have plenty of drums too! Just bring your spirit and let’s make some noise together!

The Squirrels (aged 4-6) at 5th Woodbridge Sea Scouts really enjoyed their Little Roots session at Wooden Roots. Kayleen was a calm, gentle presence perfect for this age group. The Squirrels absolutely loved playing (and sitting on!) the drums and learning the Swahili words that Kayleen taught them through her story. It was a nice touch to introduce the world map and show the children the distance Kayleen travelled from Kenya to the UK. Thank you Wooden Roots!

The Wooden Roots bursary fund is designed to be a helping hand to anyone wishing to access workshops at Wooden Roots that perhaps don’t have the funds currently to do so.  Our fund aims to support individuals from diverse backgrounds, encouraging participation.
