XXL Djembe: WR 1122

Introducing this stunning djembe, expertly crafted and carved from premium Djalla/Ackajou wood sourced directly from Mali, West Africa. The inner carving is traditional Malian and the outer carving pays homage to a Burkina Faso style djembe.  This striking instrument features our brand new Dyneema rope, the vertical rope showcases vibrant orange, rust & beige whilst the cradles compliment with rust and beige. The djembe is thoughtfully customized with a high-quality spotted/mottled goat skin head, the highly desirable Wooden Roots comfort bearing edge, polished stainless steel rings, and a seamless rubber foot for added stability.  When building this drum my intention was to add “bling” tackwork, however this is a very personalised customisation and I can work with the new owner to do this should they want it.  I can see a cat face, can you? Built in the UK by Marcus Brown, this djembe promises an exhilarating sound experience, delivering distinct tones, crisp slaps, and deep, resonant bass. This remarkable drum is a true powerhouse, high pitch and pro-level tune.  It’s perfect for enhancing any drummer’s collection and literally plays itself.
