Description
I had a lot of fun building this XXL djembe. Â Carved from Iron wood (Gele) with a big round bowl, carved in iconic Malian style. Â What I love about it is that you see natures natural beauty in this drum, nothing carved perfectly straight which gives it that unique character and natural feel.
This dark wood can definitely handle the vibrant West African flag colours of red, gold and green shown with our new Dyneema rope colours.
A beautiful spotted goat skin, tuned to the right acoustic levels of the drum which you can see the excitement in Bouba’s face as he plays this drum.
