The Wooden Roots Experience is a completely immersive and interactive, authentic West African Drum & Dance event. It is accessible to ages 8 to adult and is a ticketed event. The event is organised by Wooden Roots and is currently an annual event that runs on the 1st weekend of August. Our current home for the event is Snape Maltings, UK but we are always on the look out for new venues in new locations. We work with top class teaching artists from around the world such as Babara Bangora, Fakoly, Harouna Dembele, Aida Diop, Sidiki Dembele, Monette Marino, and Solo Soro alongside world class performers such as Seckou Keith, Sona Jobarteh, Sunto Susso.

Every event is planned individually and builds upon the last from feedback obtained from the participants. We love this event and we hope that you do to.
