Soulful Stories with Wooden Roots: A Djembe Marvel | Mindful Times
We were recently contacted by a start up company called We Offer Wellness. They asked us if we would do a like interview with them for their blog Mindful Times which get’s 500,000 hits per month, naturally we jumped at the chance to get exposure like that. The content for the interview was recorded by lovely guy called Ian so that he could transcribe it and we met with him on a sunny Friday in Suffolk via ZOOM. The conversation lasted about 30 minutes and was buoyant and free flowing about who we are, what we do, how Wooden Roots all started and why we are such big advocates of West African Drumming and the culture that surrounds it. We asked Penny, a full time volunteer at Wooden Roots to chime in as she has such a unique story about her journey with Wooden Roots.
