MIXED LEVELS West African Djembe Workshop

Come join us for an exciting, fun and in-person workshop led by GUEST ARTIST Seydou Kienou and supporting on dunun is Aboubacar Konate both from Burkina Faso! Prepare for for some amazing teaching with this duo!! This workshop open to MIXED LEVELS (not complete beginner). It’s for those looking to improve their skills in Traditional West African drumming using djembe (hand drums) to broaden their knowledge and learn more about Mande music and culture. Get ready to immerse yourself in the rhythms and techniques of this beautiful instrument. The event will be held at Wooden Roots Ltd, so mark your calendars and get ready to drum!

This workshop is NOT for complete beginners. Although, if you have attended our FREE Intro to Drumming with Wooden Roots we will soon have you up to speed and smiling alongside your fellow drummers and new friends that you will make. This workshop will absolutely get you warmed up and ready for the IMPROVER/INTERMEDIATE workshop at 2pm. Why not stay for the afternoon session too?
