This djembe was hand picked by Wooden Roots for its true authentic quality and sound. At Wooden Roots we believe that it all starts with the wood and the wood you see here is the same wood quality that we use to build our UK custom built drums. This djembe however was 100% made in Mali and we specifically selected this djembe to be headed using the same rope that we use here in the UK for our custom built djembes. We did this to help the customer with costs and also it helps to maintain more of a professional tuning by using our rope as well as enhancing the djembes characteristics. With exquisite wood and a top quality sound you will not want to let this one pass you by!
