This one of a kind Djembe was imported from Mali, West Africa. It was traditionally hand carved and headed with a premium selected goat skin.
It has been crafted to produce the traditional Mali djembe sound with deep bass, rich tones and bright slaps. Hand carved with a traditional Malian style shape and a classic style foot carving.
This djembe was hand picked by Wooden Roots for its authentic quality and sound. This is a full size hand made djembe that is reasonably lightweight for easy handling and would suit most people starting out on their drumming journey. Alternatively a great drum for use in schools, clubs and other community drumming.
Future upgrading to higher quality materials and enhancements makes a perfect solution for the budget if you are not in the market just yet for a top of the line djembe.
