Description
Come join us for an exciting, fun, fast and in-person workshop led by GUEST ARTISTS & DUNUN SUPPORT. Prepare for for some amazing teaching during these sessions. These workshops are open to IMPROVER/INTERMEDIATE students (not beginner). It’s for those looking to take their skills to the next level in Traditional West African drumming using djembe (hand drums) and broaden their knowledge and learn more about Mande music and culture. Get ready to immerse yourself in the rhythms and techniques of this beautiful instrument. The event will be held at Wooden Roots HQ, so mark your calendars and get ready to drum!
Please note this workshop is NOT for beginners. It will be a lot faster pace than the morning mixed levels workshop and will absolutely stretch your skills.
