Come join us for an exciting, fun and in-person Djembe workshop led by GUEST ARTIST from Burkina Faso, West Africa Aboubacar Konate. Prepare for some amazing teaching in this djembe workshop. This workshop is open to MIXED LEVELS (not complete beginner). It’s for those looking to improve their skills in Traditional West African drumming using djembe (hand drums) to broaden their knowledge and learn more about Mande music and culture. Get ready to immerse yourself in the rhythms and techniques of this beautiful instrument. The event will be held at Wooden Roots, so mark your calendars and get ready to drum!
These workshops are NOT for complete beginners. Although, if you have attended our FREE Intro to Drumming with Wooden Roots we will soon have you up to speed and smiling alongside your fellow drummers and new friends that you will make. These workshops will absolutely get you warmed up and ready for the IMPROVER/INTERMEDIATE workshop at 2pm. Why not stay for the afternoon session too? Take advantage of staying in the groove and step it up a notch in our 2pm Improver/Intermediate class for just £35 extra simply select a “All Day” ticket.
