Free Introduction to Traditional West African Drumming
Join us monthly on either a SATURDAY OR SUNDAY** from 11am to 12pm for an introductory session to West African drumming. This session is for anyone new to Wooden Roots and looking to start drum classes with us.
If you are not sure if you want to join a block of our djembe classes, why not come to this intro class and see for yourself how drumming can change your life.
All sessions include complimentary tea, coffee, water on arrival. On booking you will receive a confirmation email with all details & directions.
Intro Classes are currently for the age range 8* to adult.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will learn about the Djembe and why and for what ceremonies it is traditionally played. You will learn and understand our class etiquette and what a Bass, Tone & Slap is.
Get prepared to add djembe drumming to your new list of hobbies.
NOTE: This introduction class is a pre-requisite for attending any of our block classes if you are a complete beginner
