A day of West African percussion workshops with Bouba
November 30th
Enjoy a day filled with music. Aboubacar "Bouba" Konate will be teaching THREE workshops throughout the day. It's your choice to take 1,2 or ALL THREE classes.
The day will start at 11.30am and end at 3.30pm
Your choices are N'Goni (a small harp like instrument) 11.30am-12.30pm, Dunun (the bass drums played with sticks) 1pm-2pm and Balafon (a wooden xylophone). 2.30-3.30pm. Each class will be 60 minutes.
Workshops start at £15 for young learners, £40 for adults and you get a discount for taking multiple classes.
With only 10 places on each class you will get the full attention of the teacher.
Wooden Roots will also be firing up the grill if the weather stays dry.
Tea and Coffee complimentary
We have three dates when all this will happen leading up to Christmas - enjoy one date or all three. With each date there will be progression so that you can increase your skills the more you attend.
