Djembe & Dunun core fundamentals w/Marcus

Have you ever wondered where the ONE is? Do you long to have the confidence to solo when asked? Do you want to play Dununs in class? Then this is the workshop for you.  Marcus will lead you through different rhythms, calls, extended breaks (both on Djembe and Dununs) and teach you solo patterns where you can freely and confidently test it all out in this space.  This workshop will prepare you for the summer festivals and camps where you can dust off your djembe and understand how it all fits together.  Don’t just sit at the back of the workshop and think you know what’s happening – KNOW what’s happening and use it to your advantage!
