Join ABOUBACAR KONATE originally from Burkina Faso and now an esteemed band member with Balimaya Project a conjoining of jazz and Mande music as well as performing in his own band ANGATA! (which means Lets Go!) This workshop will be immersive, educational and taught authentically.  Aboubacar, a phenomenally patient and captivating teacher will be taking you on an exciting journey into Traditional West African Drumming and this workshop is designed for ALL LEVELS to participate.
