Why did I decided to build this djembe? First and foremost, this djembe is truly beautiful. It was traditionally hand carved in an iconic Mali shape and is a true representation of an older traditional Malian djembe. Secondly, my wife Gemma also loves the shell and when it arrived asked me to build it and to make it look and sound sweet. Check the video demo, the sound speaks for itself - But don’t let this one of a kind djembe pass you by. I gotta say that Babara didn’t want to put it down!!
