I love the raw beauty of Malian djembes, this one speaks to me in a way that makes me feel good. Another iconic and old Malian carved djembe, notice the humps at the base of the djembe? Well this is a true sign that you are playing on an older Malian style djembe. The wood is impeccable and the sound is sweet and clear - I think the rope colours chosen along with the accent teal rope makes this djembe stand out along with my choice to finish the heading with a “hair over”.
